When I was just a young boy, my dad always made the most delicious beef jerky at home before embarking on our epic family road trips, and those smoky, savory bites were the highlight of every adventure.

As I've gracefully grown up over the years, I've happily adopted my own fun tweaks and creative variations to my dad's famous original recipe, adding my own lively flair that makes it truly special.

My best friend Evan, who just happens to have one of the absolute best marinades for steaks, and barbecues that I've ever tasted. I wanted to share that same nostalgic joy and feeling of homemade beef jerky with everyone who loves it as much as we do.

I mean, who doesn’t absolutely love beef jerky? Well, maybe a vegan or two, but that’s not really quite the point here!

Now that I am a father myself, I can't wait to take all the valuable lessons my dad taught me and joyfully pass them down to my son, much like a treasured family heirloom.
